Outdoor Kitchen Addition
& Pooldeck Extension
Here we are in downtown, beautiful Miami Florida, doing another Outdoor FL Project. What we're doing here is a pergola as shade for a future outdoor kitchen. What we've done so far is, if you look this way, you'll see we've torn the screen enclosure down, we're going to expand the pavers out to this area right here, and then we're going to build an outstanding outrageous outdoor kitchen here. One thing that you want to keep in mind when you build an outdoor kitchen and pergola is to keep it to scale with the property. If you step back here, you'll see that we've kept it not too large, and we've made it in proportion to the area. The other thing you want to notice is it's very important how you attach it to your house. An example would be a custom bracket that we use that will support the weight and be very, very strong in hurricanes.
Custom Sunken Patio Bar
by OutdoorFL.com
One way to keep the barbecue island and the bar island all the same height and yet give the bartender the sense that he is standing at a 42 inch height is to actually lower the floor. It's a trick or technique that we use at Outdoor Living where you can add your six inches on the inside using regular chairs on the outside to give you more of a variety of chairs and the bar feel that you are looking to achieve. Always remember, if possible, build in plenty of storage, a refrigerator and an ice machine.

Total Outdoor Living Overhaul!
Here we are at the Outdoor FL Estate Collection and we just finished another estate package where everything was re-done, the pavers, the pool, ceiling, columns and cast stone work. And then a very impressive outdoor bar, which includes what we call the floating bar concept, where it looks like it floats on water using a beautiful river rock that's embedded, and then we use an ipe wood, brazilian hard wood, and of course a cast stone, poured concrete counter top to give it that clean look. In addition, as an accoutrement to that, what we've done is we've added a beautiful floating bar. This will all be filled in with landscaping so you don't see the legs or columns and what we have is a wonderful illuminated sea glass and ipe wood bar where you can store things and entertain.
Moroccan Themed Outdoor Kitchen
Here we are on site at another OutdoorFL.com project, and we're working on a wonderful Moroccan themed kitchen. This is located in South Florida, the wonderful property that we have, what we're doing is building a solid masonry structure that matches the rest of the house. As you can see we're doing a very impressive backsplash, some matching tile with the rest of the facade of the house, and something that's very rich, and will hold up to the rest of the architecture and design of the home. We have a built in charcoal grill, gas grill, a great outdoor fridge, and then up here, what we're gonna do is our featured area that'll have some not only really good looks but some lighting that will provide task lighting for when we're going to be cooking out late at night.
