Hi, welcome to South Florida for another outdoor project. Let's check out what Outdoor FL is doing this week. What we have here, as you can see, is a beautiful view. One way to enhance that view is make a great entertainment, cooking, shower, shaded area for the entire experience while you're on the water. What we're doing over here is we're doing a masonry bar which we're going to wrap in a beautiful river rock, ipe wood with a poured concrete countertop. It's going to look fantastic. Over here, we're finishing up the final touches on an outdoor pergola that'll accent the barbecue area but also provide some function where we can put some lighting in for task lighting. Then, the third is having a place that we can shower, and clean up. What we have is an elegant 14 high outdoor shower.

Here we are in South Florida completing our cabana with a beautiful outdoor fireplace, as you can see, also an outdoor kitchen over here. Full kitchen, full bar, 18 inch bar top, beautiful marble tile. One of the tips for today is "What do you do for proper ventilation?" Well, as you can see over here, with the blue tile encased in white pearl stone, what we're doing here is putting together a ventilation area that pulls all the smoke and heat out, it's very, very important that you set that grope back far enough and you have a capture out far enough that it'll capture all your heat and smoke. Make sure you also use some kind of surface that can be washed down or wiped down easily cause you will get an accumulation of grease and smoke inside.

Here we are on site in South Florida, beautiful home located in Boca Raton and has everything you can think of except that outdoor kitchen which is going over here and an outdoor bar. One of the important things that we have to look at in an outdoor bar is making sure we lay out everything correctly and this is where we really spend our time to make sure every thing works in relation to the columns, walk area, landscaping, and then of course proximity for those trips back and forth to the kitchen inside.

Well one of the ways you do it is by focusing on giving a lot of counter space for yourself as you can see here, and then having a grill that's proportional to the area which is very, very important. If you have a lot of counter space and a lot of area to work it seems larger. Another way of doing it is, of course your finishing materials. If you can see, by the glass over here, we use only the best materials that shimmer at night. Check out this area.

What makes the perfect outdoor room? One thing is examining the inside environment, architecture and style and working very, very hard to continue that style, architecture and design outside. This is the ultimate outdoor room, and of course the outdoor kitchen, with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. You too can have your own outdoor oasis. You just need to make sure that this oasis matches the inside of your home so that it looks like a continuation. And remember, have fun. Outdoor design is very subjective and you can use a variety of materials like stone, tile, concrete and of course, very comfortable furniture. What outdoor room would be complete without a sound system that's a surround sound and a TV.
